The UN regulation that makes vehicle cybersecurity a condition of type approval. A manufacturer must hold a certified Cyber Security Management System covering the whole vehicle lifecycle, and must show that threats listed in the regulation's annex are mitigated for each approved vehicle type. Binding in the EU, the UK, Japan and Korea, and mandatory for all new EU vehicles under Regulation (EU) 2019/2144; ISO/SAE 21434 is the usual way to evidence the process side of it.
