Israel's general data protection statute. It governs the registration and operation of databases holding personal information, the duties of database owners and holders, and the rights of the individuals whose data they process. Amendment 13 rebuilt its enforcement side, giving the Privacy Protection Authority administrative fining powers and adding a data protection officer requirement for large and sensitive processors.
