Fifteen basic safeguards — access control, authentication, media sanitisation, boundary protection — required of any contractor whose systems hold federal contract information. It is the lowest rung of the US contracting ladder, below the CUI and CMMC requirements, and applies to far more suppliers than either. Created in May 2016 (2016-11001).
