Australia's critical infrastructure regime, and the most demanding of its kind in the English-speaking world: it obliges owners of assets across eleven sectors to register, report incidents within twelve hours, and adopt a risk management programme, with government powers to intervene directly during an incident. Rules are made as separate instruments, so the Act's own text says little about what is currently required.
