The mandatory security controls framework for every user of the SWIFT network. SWIFT publishes a new version each July, a year before it takes effect, and users then attest between 1 July and 31 December against its mandatory controls; advisory controls are introduced first and may become mandatory later. We watch the General Documentation section of SWIFT's Customer Security Programme document centre, where each CSCF version is listed together with the programme's controls policy and assessment frameworks, so a new version or a revised programme document shows up here.
