Austria's national data protection statute, which supplements the EU General Data Protection Regulation in Austrian law. It carries the constitutional right to secrecy of personal data, governs processing for national security, defence and law enforcement purposes, and establishes the Austrian Data Protection Authority together with national rules on remedies and penalties.
