Cabinet of Ministers changes approach to ensuring continuity of state information resources

Original title: Постанова КМУ №1009 від 6 серпня 2026 року «Деякі питання забезпечення безперервності функціонування державних інформаційних ресурсів»

The government adopted Resolution No. 1009, which changes the logic of ensuring resilience of state information systems and strengthens requirements for backup and protection of state information resources. The document reorients state institutions from centralized top-down requirements to independent management of business continuity. All state institutions must comply with these changes when organizing backup and protection of their information resources.

• The logic of the approach to resilience of state information systems changes: institutions move from complying with centralized requirements from the Ministry of Digital Transformation to independent management of their business continuity and making justified decisions regarding backup and protection of their own information resources
